Our size and scale offers flexibility and security for our customers, with farms spread widely across the eastern seaboard and New Zealand for strategic supply of the freshest cuts to both urban and regional areas.

Acquired PIC Australia from Metro Meats.
2000
CHM Alliance established to deliver support services to member companies.
2001
Commenced carcase exports to Japan via SunPork Foods Pty Ltd.
2003
Acquired 35% share in Swickers Kingaroy Bacon Factory.
2007
Acquired PIC New Zealand with two other shareholders.
2008
Acquired Tong Park Piggery near Warra, Queensland.
2009
SunPork Fresh Foods commenced sales and marketing operations to enhance carcase value from CHM production facilities.
2009
Acquired all shares in Swickers Kingaroy Bacon Factory.
2011
Cameron Pastoral Company lease and operate DA Hall and Co. piggeries.
2014
Acquired a 75% stake in the Australian Pork Farms Group in South Australia.
2015
SunPork Fresh Foods acquires IMTFS Pty Ltd. to secure supply chain integrity around fresh value-added pork products.
2016
Cameron Pastoral Company lease and operate McLean Farms piggeries.
2016
The SunPork Group is formed, with all business units falling under common management.
2016
Acquired an additional 750 sows of production in South Australia via Mt Boothby Northern Aggregation.
2016
Fire destroys Swickers Boning Room – resulting in the construction of a new facility.
2017
Integrated SunPork Fresh Processing into Swickers Eagle Farm.
2018
Increased stake in the Australian Pork Farms Group in South Australia to 85%.
2019
Swickers Kill Floor upgrade commenced with capacity to process more than 40,000 head per week. Completed 2021.
2020
COVID-19 pandemic disrupted supply chain. SunPork maintained overall growth in retail and export channels despite severe workforce shortages.
2021
Cameron Pastoral Company pig farming operations transferred to SunPork management.
2021
SunPork Eastern Farming established through the acquisition of Little River Pork (3,000 sows) and PigCo. (4,300 sows) in Victoria.
2021
Swickers Eagle Farm integrated into SunPork Fresh Foods and re-branded to SunPork Fresh Processing.
